ElectroBach with MeghanDiego


The violin-guitar duo MeghanDiego will perform a fusion of electronic music with works by J.S. Bach. Two special soloists will join them: baritone Gabriel Frongillo, and soprano Melanie Holm.

Meghan and Diego are performers and educators currently living in Phoenix, Arizona. Their devotion to academic and public outreach drives their impact on art and culture in society. Working for several non-profits including Harmony Project PHX, the Phoenix Conservatory of Music and Pan American Charter School, Meghan and Diego share innovative curriculum and design repertoire for ensembles of mixed abil ities. Their outreach efforts continue during the summers at Madeline Island Chamber Music, where they work together to connect university music students to the community at large through chamber music and youth engagement. Their original music is inspired by Latin American flavors and French disco pop. They both perform in ProMusica Arizona Orchestra and Chorale and are also planning a duo tour in 2020. Meghan recently began her position at Arizona Christian University as Strings Director and professor of violin. They both graduated from Arizona State University with their Master of Music in Performance.
