Best Brass of Christmas

The Best Brass of Christmas presents its annual concert in Santa Fe on Sunday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, 50 Mt. Carmel Road in Santa Fe. “Eleven brass players from as far away as Denver, and as close as Albuquerque, Farmington and Durango, have performed these concerts the last nine years in Farmington, Cortez, Santa Fe, Los Alamos and Durango to overwhelmingly positive audiences,” says Connie Schulz, who plays euphonium in the ensemble and serves as one of the organizers. “It’s hard to imagine Christmas music without great brass. The audience will enjoy well-known Christmas favorites, some inventive arrangements and original music specially written for the ensemble.”
